Thanks to everyone who came to our 'Open Day' earlier this month.
It was a great showcase for our talents, the live show was brilliant.
Thanks to all the staff and service users for making it such a great day.
The staff at the centre have completed the 'Kapow inflables' 5k run (or in our case walk) recently at Temple Newsam.
We managed it despite raging hot temperatures but it was all good fun.
Thanks to all the staff who did this and to all the sponsors, we are still getting the money in so we'll have a final total soon.
Thanks also to Josh for his photography skills and support.
Check out our gallery for more pictures.
Please let us know if you would like to come on 01977 706932.
We will be doing a show showcasing our talented service users. We will also be showing examples of the work we do.
Many thanks to Laura who along with a few service users has made this chart showing the many activities that we do at the centre.
She's done a great job.
Laura is a volunteer at the centre on a Friday. If you would like to volunteer at the centre, just ring us on 01977 706932 or email us at email@example.com....thank you

Our photography club recently took a few pictures of the Tour de Yorkshire bike race as it passed through Pontefract.
We also took a few pictures of some other activities that were going off in the town.
The bikes were so fast it was lucky that we got any pictures at all, they took some great photo's though, well done !
We have a baking activity run every Friday by Katrina White.
She decided that as Natalie had her special birthday (Her 40th but don't tell Natalie I've told you that!) we'd bake a cake for her.
Leanne is pictured mixing the cake as is Natalie, blowing the candles out.
Here is the recipe if you want to try this at home.....
Simple Chocolate cake
Perfect for birthdays, this is a great recipe for an easy, foolproof chocolate cake. It’s moist and fudgy and will keep well for 4–5 days.
Each serving provides 477 kcal, 6.5g protein, 56g carbohydrates (of which 40g sugars), 25g fat (of which 10.5g saturates), 2.5g fibre and 0.6g salt.
For the cake
The powerlifting Competition at Ashington was a big success. The guys all got certificates and trophies.
As you can see by the photo's, everyone had a fantastic time.
Thanks to everyone who supported us at this event and the staff from the centre and from Phoenix weightlifting whom we couldn't have done this without.
We have a new twitter account, you can click here to access it or click the twitter logo on the top right of the page.
We'll update shortly
