It's with great sadness we have to announce that after 12 years of service Yvonne is leaving PFC.
The staff & service users are really going to miss her, and she's been a great member of staff over the years.
It's Yvonne's last day tomorrow, we're having a leaving party for her from 1.00 till 3.00, parents and carers welcome.

Pontefract Barracks are having an open day on Friday the 16th of August. PFC are having a stall there from 10.00am and there will be PFC staff there and some service users. We will have various crafts for sale which we've been creating over the last few weeks as well as other items and fun games!
For anyone who doesn't know where the Barracks are, if you have a sat-nav the postcode is WF8 4HH
We've got a date for our summer panto, Snow White.
It will be on the 31st of May, doors opening at 6pm with a start of 6.30pm at New College, Pontefract.
Tickets will be available from Tuesday 7th of May from Pontefract Family Centre, priced £8 for adults and £5 for children/concessions.
There will also be a family package available for £20 (two adults/two children)
Each ticket bought will also be put in a raffle for a chance to win a prize.
Service users have been working with staff member Richard and creative writing tutor, Richard Rowe on a short story book.
The creative writing group formed in Autumn of last year and the group have produced the plot, characters and the outcome of the story.
This brilliant book is out now and is available at the centre or at the real bread company cafe for just £3
PFC are looking for a temporary support worker, 16 hours a week for 20 weeks.
This is to work with our service users in and out of the centre and running activities.
D1 driver preferred as we have our own minibus.

PFC will shortly be showing off their new pantomime, Snow White, in the next few weeks.

The rehearsals are going great, so keep your eyes peeled, you're in for a real treat!
